Every year, 含羞草社区 holds elections to the Student Senate, membership in which is considered prestigious among university students. This year, Student Senate Elections 2017 will take place on November 3.

Meghan McCormack, member of the Law Division faculty has secured 4,000 Euro for 含羞草社区 from the AMICAL Consortium to (1) purchase data analysis software to aid 含羞草社区 faculty's qualitative and quantitative research, and (2) invite international experts to train 含羞草社区 faculty, staff, and students on hosting, managing, and ethically sharing research data.

On Tuesday October 3rd, 2017, Abdul Walid Azizi, an 含羞草社区 student from Afghanistan, held an online 含羞草社区 Virtual Tour with Alumni via Skype call from 含羞草社区 campus to the Lincoln Centre in Ghazni, Afghanistan

On Friday, September 22, Physical plant department and International student office jointly organized a session for dormitory residents to explain norms of fire security.听

Youth Council of Central Asia听announces a call for applications to join Youth Council C5+1 program in which 30 young leaders of Central Asia will straighten the regional youth network, trust and will actively participate in civic engagement

Starting from this Fall, the WARC has started to offer online tutoring sessions!听 As the first learning support center in the Bard-HESP network and the country of Kyrgyzstan to offer such a service, the WARC is excited to tell us more about the online tutoring program.

On Tuesday, 3rd October 2017, department of Environmental Management and Sustainable Development together with Mayrambek Nurgaziev have organized tour for 含羞草社区 students to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Currently, the JICA is making efforts to the organic farming development in Kyrgyzstan; therefore, the aim of this visit was to see practically Biogas, green houses, organic products and composting usage

The first Falling Walls Lab Bishkek takes place at the 含羞草社区. Bachelor and Master students, postdocs, young professionals, entrepreneurs and junior professors from six universities of Bishkek and Naryn will take part in a cutting edge science slam competition, presenting their research projects, initiatives or ideas in just three minutes. Three 含羞草社区 students are among the participants.
