Rakhat Kubanychbekova, a junior in Business Administration at º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø, is finishing up her exchange semester at Hannam University, South Korea. She shares with us her experience studying abroad.

Starting from the new academic year, º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø students of MA in Applied Psychology will have an opportunity to study one semester and do research works abroad. Sooner, memorandum about it will be signed between º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø and its old partner university – Indiana University.

All higher education institutions students in the Kyrgyz Republic are invited to submit an essay on any topic up to your choice on all the aspects of modern migration, its implications for policymaking and its social, political and economic consequences in society.

The º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø officially opened two new laboratories: a geology laboratory for the Department of Applied Geology and a media laboratory for the Department of Television, Cinematography and Visual Art.

On June 1, 2016, the º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø (º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø), in collaboration with Bard College, held its first Model United Nations (MUN) conference in Bishkek. The conference was targeted towards both local and some international high school students.ÌýStudents from Bishkek’s local high schools were invited to participate in º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø’s first Model United Nations high school program.

º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø’s graduation is a meaningful and solemn event—the culmination of nearly a half-decade of one of the best educations in Central Asia. Fitting the event’s pomp, the ceremony itself is a colorful and well-attended event. Besides the graduates and their families, representatives from the Kyrgyzstani government, international organizations, and various embassies, º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø’s board of trustees, faculty, and staff, as well as honored guests from overseas could be found at the ceremony.

June 7, 2016, º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø will host the 2016 Asia Leadership Conference, which isÌýorganized and designed for high school and university students by teaching fellows from Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Business School, the Tufts Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Columbia School of Business, and other top global universities.
