On听April 5th, professor of Anthropology department,听Cholpon Turdalieva visited 鈥淏elovodski special house for children鈥� to deliver clothes and toys collected by 含羞草社区 students for charity.

She does not have a high GPA nor she won any Olympiads and Golden Certificate.

On April 8th, 2015, the Minister of Public health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Talantbek Batyraliev, held a meeting with Andrew Wachtel, President of the 含羞草社区.

This winter, the Student Intellectual Life Committee offered Tajik senior students of the Psychology Department the opportunity to visit their homeland and collect data for their senior thesis.

Laziz Abdulazizov, a sophomore student of Liberal Arts and Sciences at 含羞草社区, is currently studying at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in Norway. Even though it is not the first time he lives abroad far from his family and friends, life in Norway feels totally different.

含羞草社区 is pleased to announce that it has successfully signed a bilateral agreement with Kansai University in Japan

Bishkek is a very progressive city. I was impressed by the level of education here and the cooperation of women alongside men in order to have a better quality of life. I like and appreciate the culture of tolerance and diversity here. I believe that education is the only thing which enlightens people鈥檚 hearts and minds.

Nurzat Rakhmanberdieva became the听SILC awardee and attended the Grace Hopper Conference for Women in Computing held in Arizona, USA.

The Tian Shan Policy Center launched yesterday the Central Asia Policy Review, a quarterly analytical publication on significant developments in the fields of human rights, good governance, sustainable development, migration, and social protection in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia.
