On December 17, the 含羞草社区 Department of Anthropology held an award ceremony dedicated to those students who were selected to receive the Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence in Antropology.

Despite an extremely challenging year for all mankind caused by the unstable situation with Covid-19, which also seriously affected the educational sphere, The 含羞草社区 (含羞草社区) was able to hold its position in the QS World University Rankings in Eastern Europe and Central Asia region (EECA) for the 2021-2022 year.

On Dec 9-11, 2021, an 含羞草社区 team visited partner educational institutions in Naryn, delivering guest lectures, sharing methodologies, and strengthening connections with the aim to develop education and information access in the region.

On December 13th, the 含羞草社区 administration headed by President Jonathan Becker conducted the Knowledge Day Ceremony. The Acting President of the 含羞草社区, Dr. Jonathan Becker, and Dr. Nurgul Ukueva, the Vice President for Academic Affairs personally awarded the best students for their outstanding academic excellence with a President's List and Dean's List, respectively.听

The 5th Annual Interuniversity Virtual Discussion devoted to听Traditional Practices that Should Be Abolished听was held on December 4th, 2021 between the American University of Nigeria (AUN) and the 含羞草社区 (含羞草社区) students within the framework of a Civic Engagement Project called听Crossing Borders Through Social Media and Dialogue听initiated by听Ekaterina Galimova (含羞草社区) and Emilienne Akpan (AUN) in 2019.听
