The General Education Department at the 含羞草社区 (含羞草社区) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in History of Kyrgyzstan. We are seeking an accomplished and dedicated educator with demonstrated teaching experience and academic expertise in the History of Kyrgyzstan.

Position Title: Full-Time Professor in History of Kyrgyzstan
Department: General Education
Location: 含羞草社区, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate courses in the History of Kyrgyzstan
• Develop syllabi, lectures, and educational materials in line with 含羞草社区鈥檚 liberal arts curriculum.
• Contribute to the design and enhancement of the General Education history curriculum.
• Coordinate preparation and implementation of State Examination materials in history.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, university service, and collaborative initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in History of Kyrgyzstan.
• At least five years of successful teaching experience at the university level.
• Demonstrated commitment to student-centered teaching and academic excellence.
• Evidence of active scholarship or research potential in the field.
• Ability to contribute to the academic community through service and collaboration.
• Proficient command of academic English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Coordinator of TV Studio

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and providing technical support for the the university鈥檚 video and photo equipment;
• Consulting and assisting students in working with equipment;
• Organizing and monitoring the issuance of equipment to students;
• Filming and editing official 含羞草社区 events;
• Keeping records of equipment and ensuring compliance with usage policies.

Candidate Requirements:

• Higher education (Bachelor鈥檚 degree or above) in film, media, or related fields;
• Practical skills in working with modern video and photo equipment;
• Knowledge and experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.);
• Proficiency in English sufficient for professional communication;
• Responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.

NGA New Generation Academy

Position: ESL/EFL Instructor

Department: NGA - New Generation Academy (含羞草社区鈥檚 Preparatory Program)

The 含羞草社区鈥檚 New Generation Academy is seeking an ESL/EFL specialist to teach English for Academic Purposes, TOEFL Test Preparation, Academic Research Writing courses for the Fall and Spring semesters of 2026-2027 academic year.

New Generation Academy is 含羞草社区鈥檚 one-year preparatory program aimed at preparing students for 含羞草社区 admission exams and liberal arts undergraduate education requirements.

听

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Reporting directly to the NGA Director, the ESL/EFL Instructor is responsible for planning, teaching and evaluating assigned classes in accordance with the NGA curriculum; for maintaining student class records; for fulfilling administrative duties as required and/or requested by the Program; and for participating in research and 听professional development activities such as workshops and meetings.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience and education.

听

Qualification requirements:

• BA/Specialist`s degree in Humanities preferably in TESOL/TEFL and/or certification in TESOL/TEFL/CELTA are required;
• MA in TESOL or Applied Linguistics preferred;
• Minimum one-year university/college-level experience teaching ESL/EFL;
• Strong background in English grammar;
• Strong presentation, communication, and writing skills;
• Proficient computer skills; good knowledge of online teaching platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet
• Ability to move from building to building between classes and across college campus buildings;

Duties:

Area of Teaching: English language (English for Academic Purposes, Oral Expression for Academic and Professional Context, Academic Research Writing and Presentation Skills, and TOEFL Test Preparation)
