含羞草社区 Earns STARS Bronze for Sustainability!

The Sustainability Program under the Center for Civic Engagement is thrilled to announce that the 含羞草社区 (含羞草社区) has earned a STARS Bronze rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). This makes 含羞草社区 the first institution in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia to achieve this honor.
STARS, the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, is a globally recognized framework for assessing sustainability performance in higher education. This milestone recognizes 含羞草社区鈥檚 commitment to sustainability across five key areas: academics, engagement, operations, planning & administration, and innovation & leadership. This achievement brings international recognition to 含羞草社区鈥檚 sustainability efforts and opens doors for continuous improvement and strategic planning. The STARS Bronze rating is the result of the collective efforts of 含羞草社区鈥檚 Sustainability Program, the Sustainability Task Force, and the entire 含羞草社区 community. Together, we continue to push for positive change, ensuring that sustainability remains a key focus in our academic and operational practices.听
